‘Ostaz’ Grill n Bake is a Lebanese restaurant in Dubai. Our key inspiration for this identity is derived from the restaurant’s name ‘Ostaz’ meaning ‘The master’ who exhibits a unique culinary talent in Lebanese Food. With this in mind, we merged the Arabic vernacular with a dash of modernism, hence the use of the classic Ruq’a calligraphic script. We also created a friendly character for ‘Al Ostaz’ whose young yet mature appearance reflects his expertise. Finally, we used the starburst as a complementary visual element because #OstazKnowsBest!
