Women's Center - Beirut, Lebanon
The Young Women’s Christian Association is a pioneering organization in Lebanon to address challenges facing women. The challenge for us was to transform an inconsistent and inconspicuous brand via an effective identity rebrand. The brand also needed to communicate a unique message across the young and old generations of women. The refined logo illustrates a prominent “W” for women while using a friendlier font. As part of the rebranding we also developed an icon set that aligns with a specific color-coding system as a label for each of their programs. This mechanism was developed across stationary, website, internal forms, communication, and templates for: newsletter, events, workshops, and more. We finally incorporated within the identity colorful illustrations of a group of women facing each other to showcase an engaging female community of different generations. The brand became consistent and memorable.
